Aim: Extracting DNA from a kiwi fruit
Method:
Mush half a kiwi fruit in a zip lock bag with a splash of water and add a small teaspoon of salt
Strain the solution through the cloth into a beaker
Add a squirt of dishwashing liquid and stir.
Pour into a test tube
Place the test tube in a beaker filled with WARM water
Leave for ten minutes
Slowly pour 5mL of methylated spirits on the side of the test tube.

DNA is made of chemical building blocks called nucleotides
Conclusion:
The experiment did work we got to see the DNA separate from the mushed kiwi fruit and I wouldn't change anything from the experiment
